"Luther the Celebration"
"Luther the celebration" is one of the highlights of this years agenda of the town of Eisenach. In August the Wartburg city of Eisenach will ties its visitors to the time of the reformation. The historical town centre awaits visitors from 19 to 21 August with a unique event on historical roots.

New Museum "Automobile World of Eisenach"
The "Automobile World of Eisenach" has opened its new exhibition in a former production building of the Carproducing Factory of Eisenach. The new museum is established in the Friedrich-Naumann-Straße 10 and shows examples of the more than 100 years old tradition of car production in Eisenach.
New exhibition in honour to the history of car production in Eisenach has opened.
On its 23rd meeting of the World Heritage Comitee from 29 November to 4 December in 1999 the Wartburg Castle was apointed as UNESCO World Heritage. It is the first Castle in Germany listed in the World Heritage of Nature and Culture.
On 15 September 2000 the Wartburg Foundation was honoured to receive its official document of apointment to the list of World Heritage.
